Recognizing the achievements of its members is an important part of the mission of the IEEE. Each year, following a rigorous evaluation procedure, the IEEE Fellow Committee recommends a select group of recipients for one of the Institute’s most prestigious honors, elevation to IEEE Fellow.

It is my great pleasure to inform you that the IEEE Board of Directors, at its meeting on 18 November 2007, elevated you to IEEE Fellow, effective 1 January 2008, with the following citation:

for contributions to image and video analysis, coding, digital watermarking, and rights management

Within the next two months, you will receive your IEEE Fellow pin and certificate. Both serve as visible recognition of your elevation to the highest grade of membership in the IEEE.  Please confirm your name as you want it to appear on your certificate, plus the address to mail your Fellow pin and certificate by sending an e-mail to fellows@ieee.org.

最近學長請假，剛好負責的一個project要跟其他人合作。

那個人很機車，之前一直寫信給他又不回，打電話沒人接。直接我一直催他，他才回我。

一下跟我說那個東西又沒人要用幹麼要改，一下子又考我如果發生什麼情形會怎樣，一副要考我的樣子。

又要我馬上做出決定要如何改，問題project是學長負責的，當然要等他作決定啊！

今天學長回來後，他又一直說幸好你回來了，新人都不會，根本不行！

男人最痛恨人家說不行！新人本來就不可能熟全公司的產品線，也不可能對每一行程式都很熟。那些東西其實也沒有多了不起，給我個半年我一定可以很熟，不知道這些小學小藝可以驕傲什麼。

幸好我當兵常遇到這種人，常常是半瓶水響叮噹，仗著自己老，欺負新兵。機車人一個。

老爸一個人在家裏一定是超無聊的，最近家裏的動物愈來愈多了。 之前為了顧農穫，養了一隻狗「小胖」。他倒是很盡責，只要有不認識的人接近，他就會一直叫，讓我爸在晚上可以睡好覺。他超痛恨撿紙的阿伯，每次遇到他都會狂吠一個小時，都會叫到「失聲」。不過他很聰明，我第一次回家、清第一次到我家、Sophie第一次遇見他，他都沒有叫，還過來搖尾巴。

後來我爸又抓了一隻會說話的小鳥，不過到現在還沒訓練成功。

這禮拜學長請假，但是剛好之前的程式發生了一點問題，所以我禮拜天晚上被call回來，把bug fix了！

每次第一次做事似乎都會被震撼教育啊！然後在進入佳境！當排長的時候，第一次值星是有人自殺，上班後第一次當代理人就被callback。

只能說加油囉！

果然是4N的week，team中好多人都回來了！真是太可怕了！
